First & foremost I would like to express extreme gratitude for how league play has been through the first 2 weeks! It is great to see people competing in a healthy atmosphere and I cannot wait to see what week 3 has in store for us.

This year we have a condensed schedule due to not having the SUNY Oneonta gym available. Some A league teams have yet to play a game so there is no current league standings or updates.
week 2 game recap

Things to watch for week 3:
Can Berry give Irish Green their first loss of the season? Kevin Kurkowski is back from spring break and is ready to make a league impression.
What will happen when Team Blendos (Brown) faces off against undefeated Military Green? Will Team Blendos be able to continue scoring over 100 pts ? Will Jo Annan be present ? Will Team Blendos have any new roster additions ?
Who will come away with thier first win of the season in the clash between Poolbrook Contracting (White) & Violet. The Violet team will be missing some key players but team captain Travis Moyer may be adding some a league members to the team. Rookie of the year contender Pat Terk is also considering bringing recruits to assit with the team. Poolbrook contracting was without star player Graham Wooden last week and they almost came away with a big comeback victory verses Irish Green. Linton Wainwright hit a clutch 3 point shot late and stole the inbound pass providing Rob Scianimanico an opportunity to tie the game at the buzzer, unfortunatley the attempt fell short. Stay tuned.
Will OJCA (Black) bounce back from struggling offensively in their double header? OJCA will have a challenging day ahead as they face off against sand with a newly acquired Stevie Melendez (2025 Blendos 3 on League MVP) and have been without Team Captain Matt Zynda. Evan Lane has been described by players in the league as "un-guardable" and with the recent roster additions of Ray Williams & E Santiago, Heliconia looks to be a very well rounded team and the veteran players are noticeably helping the younger players develop during games.
Several teams still have players listed on the roster who have yet to play a game, will they be replaced or will they show up?
A commissioner's rank will be released upon the conclusion of week 3 games.
we are looking forward to the week 3 basketball games and we are another week closer to the 4th annual Blend-A-Rama Community Outdoor 3 on 3 Basketball tournament to be held on Main Street In Oneonta, NY August 2nd & 3rd 2025.
