5th Annual Blendos Holiday Tournament

This Saturday we have the 5th annual Blendos Holiday Tournament at SUNY Oneonta in the Chase Gymnasium from 9am- 4 pm (FREE ADMISSION for spectators)
Right now I currently have 6 confirmed teams 1 pending and I will assemble two free agent teams for the Men's Open Division. I would like to recruit two additional teams for a total of 12.
I still only have two confirmed teams for the women's bracket with 1 pending and I only have 1-2 free agents for the women's open division. We need at least 4 confirmed teams but 6 would be magnificent.
I need to have the schedule confirmed by tomorrow night.

We look to bring back the Holiday tournament for the first time post covid.
In the past we have had a very competitive turn out recruiting teams from the following areas: Albany, Binghamton, Elmira, Syracuse, Rochester and several from the immediate Tri- County Area (Chenango, Delware, Otsego)
This tournament will consist of several players who have previously played collegiate, semi-pro and/or professional basketball.
This event would be a great opportunity for younger athletes to attend to watch some high caliber basketball being played in a safe, friendly but competitive environment.
The vibes for the holiday tournament traditionally have all welcoming and postitive.
This event is essentially a basketball reunion to close out the year.
Traditionally this tournament has been scheduled closer to December 25th which has made it easier for people outside of the area to come back and participate while visiting family.
Gym will be open @730 am
Tournament winners will receive a set of Blendos t- shirts
Tournament MVP gets a $50 GC to Walmart & a Blendos Hoodie
Sportsmanship Award x2 = Blendos T shirt & $10 off coupon for a future league / tournament
All participants will also be randomly entered in a raffle for a $20 off coupon for a future Blendos tournament / league
If you can help find a team ...I'll pay $25 commission after payment received ..or that team can play for $225, either works

We will look to have several games recorded again this year and published to the Blendos Youtube Channel while also Live Streaming the event all day via Facebook.
